Mask Review: Cathy Doll Sweety Recipe Lively Carrots Mask Sheet

Happy Monday! Today is another mask review day and the spot light is on CATHY DOLL SWEETY RECIPE LIVELY CARROTS SHEET MASK. If you have been following my mask reviews you would know that I tried their Aloe Mask and I didn’t like it but I still decided to get another mask from the same line to give the brand another try.

Mask Review: Cathy Doll Sweety Recipe Happy Aloe Vera Mask Sheet

Carrot mask sheet helps combat free radicals, delays skin degeneration and stimulates skin elasticity as well as strengthening the skin layers. It also acts as a shield against various pollution to offer you healthy, youthful and luminous complexion.

Price: Php 59.00 or $1.20

Ingredients: Some notable ingredients include Alcohol, Fragrance, Propylpraben, Methylparaben, and Carrot extract.

This mask does contain Parabens and fragrance so if you are keen to that ingredients this mask may not be for you.

Packaging: Same layout and feel of the Aloe Mask since they are on the same line. This carrot mask is in a Pink sachet and all information are at the back.

Scent: I really don’t know the scent of a carrot in terms of putting it into a product but this mask has a mild sweet scent to it but I can still smell a little bit of that alcohol.

Sheet Mask details:  Okaay. First of all I did notice that the sheet itself is a bit on the thick side. The fit is okay, actually it was a big mask  but the hole on the mouth is too small. The adherence of this mask isn’t that great too, I have to press the sheet a couple of times just for it to really stick on my face.

Thoughts:

  • I really like the scent because it is not too overpowering but at the same time not a fan of the faint alcohol smell.
  • It was hard to talk or to even move my lips when I used this because every time I would do so, the mask will just move and I have to press it again on my face.
  • It had a slight cooling effect and it did make my feel feel supple.
  • There was a sticky or tacky feeling even after removing the mask for like 30 minutes.

Final Verdict:  I like the scent of this Carrot mask not unlike the scent of their aloe which just reeks alcohol but I like the fit and adherence of their aloe mask. I wish I could combine the two mask so I could get a great mask for me. I did try this mask out to give another chance for the brand and their mask line but unfortunately I still didn’t like this mask. I’m not sure if I will try another variant from the same line but I will keep exploring other products of the brand.

Xoxo,

Roseanne ❤
