Mask Review: QuickFx Dewy+ Hydrating Face Mask

I’m back for another mask review for today, and yes, I’m going to publish all my QuickFx mask reviews today so you could choose what to try between their 3 variants.

QuickFx isn’t a new brand for me, I have tried their pimple eraser and their no-shine mattifier primer which I both loved. Now QuickFx launched some new products, which includes these sheet mask. They released 3 variants of their sheet mask; Liquid Ice, Dewy+ hydrating mask, and Sculpt tightening face mask.

For this post, I’m going to share my thoughts about their DEWY+ Hydrating face mask. I was really curious about why this mask is called DEWY, so I was thrilled to try it but spoiler alert!, I didn’t find anything unique about this mask.

“This skin-fitting mask delivers ultra hydration to dull skin, leaving it replenished from moisture loss and dryness to achieve that dewy glow.”

Price: Php 89.00 or $1.80

Ingredients: Notable ingredients include snail, Aloe Vera extract, Licorice root extract, peptide complex, and Adenosine. (Adenosine is yeast-derived ingredient responsible for restoring the skin)

Packaging: This sheet mask comes in your standard mask packaging. It has a very “millennial” color or theme going on with the three masks having a pastel design. This particular mask is in the color pastel pink. The packaging also includes all important information such as ingredient list, directions, and expiry date.

ScentThis has a floral scent that isn’t too overpowering. It’s just subtle to barely notice.

Sheet Mask details: The sheet mask does fit well on my face but I think for someone with a big face the mask might not totally cover your skin. The sheet itself is a bit thick for my liking.

  •  I noticed that unlike the Liquid Ice variant, this doesn’t have enough essence. When I put the sheet mask, I could feel that it was lacking that essence, and the mask was a bit dry.
  • I didn’t feel that hydration that I was expecting, compared to other hydrating masks that I have tried, this doesn’t leave that hydrating feeling and maybe because it was lacking the essence.
  • It was called Dewy+ and aims to give that glow, but it just made my face feel and look matte for some weird reason.

Final Verdict:

This is not a mask that I would repurchase or I would recommend. I am disappointed that it didn’t deliver the hydration that I was expecting.
