Review: Votre vu Peau Equilibree Balancing Serum & 24/7 Balancing Creme

Today I’m going to review a skin care product but not a local brand nor a Korean brand. Votre Vu is a brand from Paris France which we all know is a mecca for anything luxurious and skincare isn’t an exemption.. Votre Vu takes pride in providing skincare and makeup products with only the best ingredients that they can provide for different skin concern.

They sent me two products from their PEAU ÉQUILIBRÉE line that is specifically made from plant and marine extracts to help regulate sebum production, minimize pores and to restore the natural pH balance of our skin.⁣

PEAU EQUILIBREE BALANCING SERUM : Loaded with AHAs to help clear up pores and to help sooth skin. Key ingredients of this serum includes Glycerin, Green tea extract and oat kernel extract that is responsible for soothing the skin since it is full of antioxidants.

This concentrated sérum helps diffuse inflammation, regulate sebum production, and restore the equilibrium of your natural pH levels calmly and softly, while refining and evening out oily skin’s texture.

This serum comes in a pump bottle so it’s easy to dispense the product. The consistency of this serum is very light but not too watery. I find that two pumps of the product is enough for my full face. It has a mild floral like scent which I love since it’s not too over powering.

PEAU EQUILIBREE 24/7 BALANCING CREAM: This cream acts to reduce sebum production and to restore the skin’s natural barrier leaving a clearer and soft skin. This cream is just packed with great ingredients  for the skin such as Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) that is known to give hydration on our skin,  Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCl) that helps regulate hormone balance and prevents production of excess sebum,   and Vitamin E (Tocopheryl) Acetate powerful antioxidant which protects the skin against stress.

This crème has a luxurious residue-free texture that works to purify the complexion while it heals imperfections, reduces inflammation and hydrates your skin to its most comfortable level.

One of the things I usually dread of trying out is creams, as a person with oily skin, I find it hard for me to love creams since most of them are too thick for my liking and creates more sebum and usually clogs up my pores so today I’m happy to announce that I finally found a cream that I am in love with. A very light weight cream that really hydrates my skin and doesn’t clog my pores or leave a very heavy feeling. It also doesn’t leave a tacky feeling.

When I tried this, I only use a basic cleanser, a toner ,the balancing serum and this 24/7 balancing cream and the results were really amazing! Just using those 4 products on my night routine, I really noticed that my pores were smaller than before and I don’t oil up that much compared to when I am not using the balancing cream and serum.

I would definitely recommend this to everyone who’s having problem with their sebum production and with their pores.  I am totally loving this and I really didn’t expect it to be this amazing.

Xoxo,

Roseanne ❤
