Mask review: Pond’s Skin Brightening Serum Mask

Happy Friday! Today is another mask review. I was not planning to post a review about this mask but some of my followers on IG requested me to do it so here it is! I bought this because I was just really curious and I haven’t seen a review of it and shockingly I didn’t see an IG post from Pond’s Ph about this product.

Happy #pinkwedneaday!⁣ ⁣ It’s that day of the week where I randomly pick up some #pink items from my stash.⁣ ⁣ 💖@pondsph ponds Skin brightening serum mask which I was supposed to try last night but decided to skip since I was dead tired. Super curious if this is really good, seems I haven’t seen a lot of reviews.⁣ 💖@votrevu Peau Equilibreé serum which I am totally loving together with the cream! Full review will be up by next week.⁣ 💖@inher_element rose clay mask that a lot of people seem to like but I have yet to try. ⁣ 💖@laneigeph lip sleeping mask in berry which I totally liked when I first tried but not sure if this will be my HG. I couldn’t really feel any big difference after applying this⁣ 💖@inher_element triple treat eye cream that I have been using for a month now and totally in love! This really helped with my dark circles and a little goes a long way so this cream will really last for a couple of months.⁣ ⁣ Happy Wednesday everyone! Are you wearing pink today? 😂🥰

“15 mins miracle serum mask boots skin’s glow from within”

Price: Php 99.00 or $2. This is available at Watsons, Watsons online and SM Department stores.

Ingredients: Notable ingredients include Niacinamide, Vitamin 3 and plant and flower extracts.

Packaging: It’s just your typical sheet mask pack. This is in a metallic pink packaging and the other variants comes in purple and red. All the necessary information is indicated at the back of the mask.

Scent: I was surprised that it has a floral scent and it reminds me of a flower called Ylang-Ylang. I personally liked it and it didn’t bother me at all and maybe because it’s not that typical artificial floral scent and it is not overpowering at all.

Sheet Mask details: It has a thin sheet and I personally like thin mask because it sticks well on the face. This is really thin that it was hard for me to unfold the sheet mask and I had to be very careful not to tear it. For the fit, I was really disappointed that the holes on the eyes and mouth was just really off, it was too big.

Thoughts:

  • I really liked the fact that the serum in this mask was thick and it wasn’t dripping wet. It really felt I was soaking my face with serum, well it did say it has 30x serum intensity.
  • It did give a slight tacky feeling but it was not too bad compared to the other mask I have tried with a tacky or sticky feeling.
  • Did it brighten my face? Yes! The next morning I did notice that my face was brighter and feels so plump.

Final Verdict: I think that this would have been an awesome mask if the fit was perfect. I am really contemplating if I will repurchase this because the fit is just really throwing me off and I know there are other brightening mask that works and has a better fit to totally cover the face but what I really love is their serum. If only I could buy the serum alone, without a doubt I will buy it.

Xoxo,

Roseanne ❤
