Mask Review: A’Bloom Althea Mask Sheet (Avocado, Watermelon, Lemon and Peach)

Today’s mask review the newly launched A’Bloom collection of Althea. They released four (4) fruity sheet mask to tackle different skin condition. I was actually pretty excited when they released these sheet mask because probably by now you know how much love sheet masking.  These mask was sent to me by Althea as their Althea Angel but of course my reviews is always 100% honest.

Snapseed (1)

Price: Php 20 each and Php 180 for 10 sheets. It’s really an affordable sheet mask and I think of the cheapest sheet mask out there or at least of that I know of.

Packaging: I super love the design of the packs! The names are so witty and the hand writing font and doodles look so fun.  The details of the sheet mask is also printed at the back such as product information, ingredient list and expiry date.

Sheet details: Even though that this is priced only for Php 20 they didn’t sacrifice the amount of essence in each pack. It is really soaked with essence. However, one thing I didn’t really loved is the fit and how it was a struggle to unfold the sheet mask since it is relatively thin, good thing the sheet itself doesn’t tear too easily.

NOURISHING AVOCADO MASK

This mask is rich in antioxidants to nourish and protect skin from harmful environmental factors and prevent wrinkles. Infused with avocado extracts and hibiscus for soft supple skin that glows

I think I have never tried any avacaod sheet mask before so I was really excited when I tried this one. This has a slight citrus scent which I didn’t expect because I was expecting a more fresh like scent to it. A really hydrating mask that made my skin looks healthier and less dull. However, I am not a fan of the slight tacky finish after. Overall, a great everyday sheet mask to help your skin get extra nourishment.

MOISTURIZING WATERMELON MASK

This mask that packs a punch of hydration and moisturization for waterful skin that lasts. A delicious drink for skin with watermelon extract and added lavender to calm the senses

I didn’t know what to expect with this sheet mask but it turned to be one of my favorite and here’s why. It has a mild floral fresh scent to it which reminds me of my favorite perfume- a really relaxing scent. This sheet mask is really really moisturizing! It felt like my skin drank water. I used this on a hot summer day, and it’s really refreshing. Less tacky finish than the other sheet mask.

BRIGHTENING LEMON MASK

This brightening mask clarifies and brighten dull skin to unveil the natural glow from within. The double dose of Vitamin C from lemon and lime extracts banishes dark spots and green tea boosts brightening while calming skin

I made an oppsie when I used it, I freaking forgot how sensitive my skin was that day but I still placed a lemon mask with vitamin C and lemon and lime extracts on my face. It didn’t made my skin worst except my upper lip got a little stinging sensation. This one has a really citrus scent to it  which I actually liked. The brightening effect of this one is really amazing! It really did brighten up my face right after use.

ANTI-BLEMISH PEACH MASK

This anti-blemish mask purifies and soothes irritated and sensitive skin. Infused with peach extracts and tea tree oil to regulate oil, balance moisture and purify for soft smooth skin.

This has a slight citrus scent to it and feels a bit tacky. What I love about this mask is how it really helped calmed down my skin since it has been really sensitive these past few days. Aside from that, it is also really hydrating.

FINAL VERDICT

For their price, it’s really a good sheet mask. I particularly love the avocado and the watermelon! A great everyday sheet mask, this would have been a perfect mask for me if the fit was better and less tacky.
